Essential

Functions
  • Rework and stamp pickups self‑identified and/or written by Air Framer and/or customer during the build of the Aircraft.
  • Replace/troubleshoot faulty electronic components and other damaged parts, adjusting misaligned panels/trim pieces, provide assistance to the Air Framer seat installation team and other miscellaneous tasks given.
  • Sustain a high quality level of workmanship at all times.
  • Respond promptly to all communication (telephone, etc.) with Air Framer personnel and customers.
  • Maintain a good rapport with Air Framer personnel and customers.
  • Follow Safran/Air Framer safety guidelines or processes established by the organization at all times.
  • Submit accurate part order requests and understand the POA/SOA process at Air Framer/Safran.
  • Be responsible for driving company van and other technicians safely around Air Framer/Safran Facilities.
  • Attend Safran daily standup/tie‑in meeting.
  • Adhere to Air Framer/Safran training requirements that relate to Flight line, Safety and other course overviews throughout the year.
  • Coordinate verbally with QA's, Engineers, Lead's, Technicians and other key Air Framer/Safran personnel on a daily basis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements
  • Education & Qualification
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    • Associate's degree in a related technical field preferred.
  • Work Experience
    • At least 2 years of Field Service experience related to troubleshooting and repairs required.
  • Professional Skills
    • Natural mechanical ability with hand and power tools.
    • Basic working knowledge of CMM's, Engineering Drawings and other technical documents.
    • Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Office applications.
    • Proficient using smartphones/tablets on a daily basis to send emails, pictures and other applications.
    • Valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a passport.
  • Behavioral Skills
    • Ability to work efficiently under stressful situations.
    • Follows instructions and completes jobs in a timely manner.
    • Excellent customer‑service, verbal and written communication skills.
    • Availability to work various hours, after‑hours and weekends as needed.
    • Ability to maintain multiple tasks simultaneously, including managing assignments from more than one customer during a given day.
    • Willingness to travel to other Air Framer FALs in other states and other international Safran sites on some occasions.
    • Ability to generate written communication and operate required office equipment.
    • Clear written and verbal communication in English.
  • Desirable Aspects
    • Hands‑on electrical troubleshooting knowledge (testing voltage and continuity).
    • Demonstrated participation in continuous improvement efforts. Clear written and verbal communication.
    • International and/or domestic travel required; approximately 2-4 weeks per year.
