SUMMARY

Ensure all maintenance actions, including documentation, are carried out in accordance with approved data in an airworthy manner. Additionally, you will be responsible for preliminary, routine, and in‑process inspections on aircraft and/or components to determine serviceability and airworthiness.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Accomplish incoming preliminary inspections on aircraft/components per customer request cards or manufacturer’s manuals.
  • Ensure documentation of maintenance performed meets the requirements of FARs, ATS Repair Station Manual, and the customer’s Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program (CAMP).
  • Accomplish final buy‑back of maintenance performed.
  • Accomplish in‑progress inspections, including clearance‑to‑close, torque verifications, dimensional checks, rigs, etc.
  • As authorized by ATS and airlines, perform return‑to‑service and airworthiness releases on serviceable tags, aircraft logbooks, and FAA Form 337.
  • Perform audits of ATS facilities for FAR and safety regulation compliance.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • F.A.A. Airframe and Powerplant License required.
  • Three years heavy aircraft maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, as determined by the manager’s discretion.
  • NDI and previous QC experience highly desirable.
  • Prior supervisory experience highly desirable.
PHYSICAL EFFORT AND DEXTERITY

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit; use their hands and arms; talk or hear; and focus on objects up close. The employee may also be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Lifting and moving up to 10 pounds is required, and occasionally up to 25 pounds. With help, lifting and moving up to 50 pounds is occasionally required.

COMPENSATION

The full base pay range for this position is $33.00 - $50.00 hourly, not including bonuses or benefits. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education, as well as internal equity to ensure fairness across the team. Candidates near the lower end of the range are typically building expertise, while those at the higher end bring significant experience and specialized knowledge.

This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus.
