Experienced Quality Systems Specialist

The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) group is seeking an Experienced Quality Systems Specialist to join the Metrology and Test Equipment Services (MATES) team in Everett, WA. The role will coordinate with MATES and various Boeing business units to provide quality support for calibration, certification, and manufacturing of advanced aerospace products and test assets.

• Review proposals, contracts, regulations, program, and customer requirements to ensure early quality involvement in program development.
• Prepare and maintain quality directives, policies, processes, procedures, and metrics that meet program, contract, customer, regulatory, and international standard requirements.
• Analyze process data and metrics to identify root causes of problems and develop preventive or corrective actions.
• Lead research and analysis for performance reports and process control statistics to continuously improve process capability.
• Perform quality source selection and process reviews of suppliers, providing coordinated responses for management review.
• Conduct hardware, software, and system-level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, and related business, regulatory, and customer requirements.
• Analyze data to provide material review dispositions for nonconforming materials, parts, and equipment.
• Work under general direction to support MATES quality initiatives.

• U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 (U.S. Citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
• At least 3 years of experience in quality, metrology, and/or quality management systems.
• At least 3 years of experience applying AS9100 and with internal audit processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality, laboratory testing, and/or metrology.
• Experience with ISO/IEC 17025 Standard.
• Knowledge of drug-free workplace testing requirements.

This position may require up to 10% travel.

Competitive base pay of $102,000 – $138,000 for Experienced Level (Level
3) plus variable compensation opportunities. Eligible employees may enroll in a range of health, retirement, and insurance benefits, as well as paid and unpaid time away from work, depending on eligibility factors such as location and date of hire.
