Job Description

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company's Quality Assurance and Quality Control programs across fabrication and construction operations. This role ensures compliance with contract requirements, company standards, and applicable codes, while driving defect prevention and process standardization.

Responsibilities

+ Develop, implement, and maintain corporate QA/QC Manual and procedures.

+ Manage BPVC and NBIC programs and certifications.

+ Maintain WPS, PQRs, and welder continuity records.

+ Coordinate third-party NDE, inspections, and testing.

+ Ensure calibration of test equipment and weld machines.

+ Manage non-conformance tracking and corrective actions.

+ Perform project compliance reviews including specifications, NDE, and materials.

+ Conduct shop and jobsite audits and inspections.

+ Inspect fabrication for materials, dimensions, and orientation.

+ Drive process improvement and root cause analysis.

+ Support project teams and participate in planning meetings.

+ Assist estimating with quality requirements.

+ Support QA/QC reporting systems and tools.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in quality assurance, quality control, and inspection.

+ Established experience writing policies and procedures related to quality within a construction or manufacturing environment.

+ Strong knowledge of mechanical construction and fabrication.

+ Working knowledge of BPVC, NBIC, and welding processes.

+ Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.

+ Attention to detail and organizational ability.

+ Strong communication and leadership skills.

+ Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Work Environment

The work environment involves managing quality assurance and control operations within fabrication and construction settings. This role requires collaboration with project teams and participation in planning meetings, ensuring all quality standards are met throughout the processes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Everett, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
