Elzly Technology Corporation (Elzly) is a growing consulting‑engineering firm that provides technical services for corrosion prevention and control across the United States, including Norfolk, VA;
Mayport, FL;
San Diego, CA;
Everett, WA;
Pearl Harbor, HI; and Japan/Pacific Oceana. Candidates willing to travel or temporarily relocate to these locations may be considered.
We are recruiting experienced coating inspectors to support U.S. Navy ship and submarine maintenance, applying corrosion control techniques and ensuring quality compliance.
Required Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED equivalent, with related military experience, trade/industrial school completion, or trade experience.
Certification:
Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) Basic Coating Inspector (formerly NACE CIP Level I). Willingness to obtain AMPP Certified and Senior Certified Coatings Inspector (formerly NACE CIP Level II and III).
- Experience in corrosion control for U.S. Navy ship/submarine maintenance, including mitigation, solution identification, and understanding of shipboard HM&E and C5I systems.
- Experience overseeing quality control of corrosion control work and interfacing with government, shipyard, and contractor activities.
- Experience in corrosion prevention and control trade.
Close, distance, color, and depth vision; ability to work from a ladder or lift occasionally; safely lift 20 pounds; walk on uneven terrain; work in confined spaces; crawl or enter 24” diameter spaces; hearing; speak; and use a respirator. Manual dexterity required.
Salary and BenefitsSalary range: $20.00–$40.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and hold a valid driver’s license.
