Metrologist – Fluke Everett Service Center

Fluke Corporation is seeking a candidate for the position of Metrologist to support operations at the Fluke Everett Service Center. This role functions as part of a team of metrologists and engineers, supporting accredited calibrations of existing Fluke products.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities include reviewing calibration results of the standards that support our measurement systems and providing technical support to both external and internal customers. The Metrologist provides leadership to the laboratory, ensuring the highest quality of results through meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Develop calibration methods and techniques for Fluke Calibration products based on measurement science principles, technical analysis of measurement problems, and accuracy requirements for calibration standards.
  • Create uncertainty analyses in support of accredited calibrations, and implement control charting, statistical process controls, and design and development of automated test and measurement systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement of calibration processes, including maintenance of those systems, and translate learned knowledge into metrology quality system policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Physics preferred, or equivalent PMEL training and work experience.
  • Experience with MET/CAL, C#, VB, Java, and/or Python programming for data analysis and process control.
  • Minimum of three years’ work experience in metrology supporting ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibrations.
  • Excellent customer service, strong interpersonal and team‑building skills, flexibility, critical thinking, and problem‑solving capability.
  • Ability to deliver results, manage time effectively, and work independently as well as within a team.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Included bonus as part of the total compensation package.
  • Salary range (in local currency): 65,090 – 108,675.
