Entry‑Level Safety Specialist – Boeing Commercial Airplanes
Location:
Everett, WA. The Boeing Company is currently seeking an entry‑level Safety Specialist to join the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) team. This role focuses on supporting the development and execution of Occupational Health and Safety programs in a fast‑paced and safety‑conscious environment.
- Help plan, roll out, and evaluate next‑generation Occupational Health and Safety programs.
- Draft clear, modern health and safety guides that reduce risk and keep us ahead of compliance.
- Dive into safety incidents and customer complaints to determine causes and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct routine walk‑throughs and audits of health and safety protocols to ensure all processes run smoothly.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Hands‑on experience or coursework in identifying workplace hazards, performing safety inspections, and understanding regulations.
- Experience in accident or near‑miss investigations, internship experience counts.
- Exposure to performing health and safety risk assessments or participating in audits.
- Strong written communication skills: experience documenting procedures, crafting clear instructions, and outlining project improvements.

- Bachelor's degree or higher in a safety‑related field such as Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, Toxicology, Bio‑Engineering, Public Health, etc.
- Experience managing risk, regulatory compliance, and safety programs.
- Experience performing health and safety risk assessments and audits.
- Experience developing and implementing process improvements.
- Professional certifications such as Graduate Safety Professional, Associate Safety Professional, Certified Safety Professional, or Certified Industrial Hygienist.
Successful candidates must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.

Pay & BenefitsPay is based on experience and qualifications, market and business considerations. Total rewards include base pay, variable compensation, health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, paid and unpaid time off, and additional benefit programs as applicable.
Summary pay range: $70,550 – $95,450.
