Laser Safety Officer (LSO)
Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite)
Contract: 6+ Months
Pay: $75-90/HR
Requirements- 5+ years as an LSO
- Strong knowledge of ANSI Z136.1, IEC 60825/62471, FLPPS, CDPH X‑Ray regs
- Bachelor's in physics, optical sciences, engineering, or related field (or equivalent LSO/RSO experience).
- Support laser/radiation safety through lab audits, exposure calculations, SOP reviews, and X‑ray compliance.
- Cross‑functional work with R&D and product teams across Sunnyvale, Burlingame, and Fremont labs (occasional Redmond travel).
