Biology Specialist (Masters/PhDs) - AI Training

We’re looking for biology experts—Masters and PhDs—to help build and refine the next generation of AI models by contributing rigorous, real-world scientific knowledge.
AboutThe Role
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed—just deep domain expertise and a commitment to scientific precision.

Remote - Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
- Develop, solve, and critically review advanced biology problems with real‑world scientific relevance.
- Apply your expertise in genetics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or related fields to design complex, meaningful problem statements.
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to sharpen AI model reasoning.
- Ensure scientific rigor, clarity, and depth across all deliverables.
- Work independently on task‑based assignments—fully on your own schedule.
- Master’s or PhD in Biology or a closely related field (Genetics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, etc.)
- Strong expertise in at least one of: genetics, biotechnology, or bioinformatics.
- Comfortable working with Python or R for research or data analysis.
- Exceptional written communicator with sharp attention to scientific detail.
- Fluent in English and self‑motivated when working independently.
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI training workflows.
- Background in computational biology, systems biology, or genomics.
- Experience designing or evaluating scientific assessments or research problems.
- Familiarity with bioinformatics pipelines or large‑scale biological datasets.
- Work on cutting‑edge AI projects alongside leading AI research labs.
- Fully remote and flexible—work when and where it suits you.
- Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, task‑based work.
- Apply your scientific expertise to problems that directly shape the future of AI reasoning in life sciences.
- Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch.
