Baker, Restaurant​/Food Service

We are a popular Indian bakery based in Washington seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team.

• Prepare and bake a variety of Indian breads, pastries, and snacks according to traditional recipes.
• Monitor oven temperatures and adjust as needed to ensure proper baking.
• Decorate and present baked goods in an appealing manner.
• Maintain inventory of baking supplies and place orders when needed.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Collaborate with other team members to develop new recipes or improve existing ones.

• Prior experience working as a Baker in an Indian bakery or restaurant.
• Knowledge of traditional Indian baking techniques and recipes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Hindi or other Indian languages is an asset.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
