We are seeking a Lead Retail Dining Supervisor who is passionate about hospitality, team development, and creating a welcoming environment for all.
Gettysburg College Dining Services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Retail Dining Supervisor to provide operational leadership for the Bullet Hole, Commons, and concession operations. This position plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional dining experience for students, faculty, staff, and guests while ensuring high standards of food quality, customer service, financial performance, and regulatory compliance.
The Retail Dining Manager oversees all aspects of retail dining operations, including staff supervision, menu development, food production, inventory management, financial oversight, customer engagement, and special event coordination. This individual will lead a diverse team of full-time and student employees while promoting a safe, inclusive, and positive work environment.
Qualifications- Strong operational, culinary and menu development
- Supervisory and communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- High school diploma or equivalent is required and a culinary certificate or an associate’s degree in hospitality management or equivalent is preferred
- Three to five years progressive food service experience with supervisory responsibilities is highly desired
- Previous experience in institutional food preparation would be an additional plus
