About EMBYREMBYR is the exclusive in-house bar at Forge
47, a high-end, four-level event venue and private city club with a 600-person capacity.
EMBYR is hiring experienced Bartenders to run the bar at Forge
47's events and deliver exceptional service to our guests and members. This is a hands-on, high-volume role at a premier venue. You'll be mixing drinks, managing your station, and delivering a guest experience that matches the level of the space.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, following EMBYR's recipes and pour standards.
- Check identification and monitor guests for signs of intoxication, refusing service in accordance with Washington liquor law.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar station throughout each shift.
- Process payments accurately through the bar's POS system.
- Build rapport with guests and deliver a polished, professional service experience consistent with EMBYR's standards.
- Coordinate with barbacks, servers, and bar management to keep service moving smoothly during high-volume periods.
- Follow all cash-handling, inventory, and closing procedures at the end of each shift.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Prior bartending experience required; experience in a high-volume or nightclub setting strongly preferred.
- Washington MAST Class 12 (Mixologist) permit required, or ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire.
- Washington Food Worker Card required (or ability to obtain before first shift).
- Strong knowledge of classic and craft cocktails, pour techniques, and responsible service practices.
- Ability to work efficiently and stay composed during fast-paced, high-volume shifts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8+ hours) and work in a fast-paced, high-noise environment.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. (kegs, cases, ice) as needed.
- A high-profile venue with strong guest volume and tipping potential.
- A clear path to Head Bartender for standout performers.
