Food Runner

Our busy beer garden located in Shaw near metro is hiring part-time and full-time food runners who like to work in a fun and fast-paced environment. We are looking for reliable, punctual, responsible, and self-motivated people to join our growing company.

Ideal candidates will have food industry experience at a well-run busy restaurant, be a good team player, have great customer relations, and can think on their feet.

Dacha Beer Garden is DC’s best beer garden located in the beautiful Shaw neighborhood, near the Shaw/Howard Metro. We serve authentic German and Belgian beers and our food menu gets its inspiration from traditional Bavarian beer gardens – hardy and tasty.

We provide health insurance for full-time employees, and subsidize VIDA gym memberships.

• High School diploma or GED, required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Friendly interpersonal skills
• Lifting 25 - 160 pounds to waist height
• Ability to work as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to safely maneuver through crowded areas
• Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work outside in hot weather, or in a kitchen environment
• Excellent customer service skills with strong ability to interact with guests
