As a Lowe's cashier, you'll ensure every customer exits Lowe's on a high note. Your work helps our stores positively serve our customers and communities by providing a quick, friendly checkout experience and helping customers get the best value for their money.

Answer customer questions and assist with payments and exchanges at the register. You may also help in stocking shelves or moving carts as needed.

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Proactively assist customers in the self‑checkout area.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently.
• Manage cash register, payments, and exchanges.
• Answer customer questions.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
• Legally able to lift 10 lbs unassisted or over 15 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Obtain required sales‑related licensure or registration if required by state law.

• Retail and/or customer service experience.
• Bilingual skills.

This role does not require regular travel; occasional travel to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores may be required.

Work may occur both indoors and outdoors with varied weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions. Noise from equipment may be constant or intermittent. Lifting guidelines: single lifts ≤ 75 lbs, team lifts starting at 75 lbs. Powered equipment should be used with proper training or assistance.
