OVERVIEW

The Golf Specialist will provide personalized service, support service execution, and drive sales through strong product knowledge, ensuring a world‑class experience for athletes.

• Deliver an outstanding athlete experience by proactively engaging athletes and providing accurate information about products and assortments.
• Anticipate athlete needs and actively drive sales through product and service recommendations.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new and existing team members, focusing on best practices, selling skills, and key operational processes.
• Serve as the go‑to expert in designated process categories, ensuring smooth execution and high productivity.
• Demonstrate efficiency and effectiveness in process execution while maintaining an athlete‑first mindset; ensure products are ready for purchase and athletes are engaged at the right time.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards by following floor set plans, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment standards.
• Promote and drive customer participation in company programs, including loyalty programs, warranty sales, and private‑label credit card enrollment.
• Create a store environment where all team members and athletes feel welcomed and respected.
• Adhere to established safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures, as well as applicable laws and guidelines.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience; previous retail or customer‑facing experience preferred.

Targeted pay range: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour. Compensation may vary based on location, experience, and position offered. DICK’S Sporting Goods offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid leave and additional benefits.
