Sales Representative

This role offers a base hourly salary of $22.50 to $25.00, plus 1.5% commission. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.
The final base compensation will be determined based on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and internal equity.
Essential Functions- Conduct inside and occasional field sales activities, including prospecting and developing opportunities, closing sales and taking orders.
- Develop an effective marketing and sales strategic plan to maximize wine distribution within an established or growing customer base.
- Maintain a broad base of support for Winebow’s services by routine contact with key decision makers.
- Communicate with customers, making outbound calls to existing and potential customers, and following up on leads.
- Provide timely educational programs, materials and services when deemed necessary.
- Participate in wine education programs, host wine dinners and pouring events, including tasting of wines as needed.
- Work with the accounting department to resolve billing issues within designated territory.
- Communicate directly with the Customer Service department regarding ordering or shipping needs indicated by clients within the territory.
- Meet agreed upon goals and objectives effectively and in a timely manner.
- Arrive at work appointments, meetings, and all work-related functions on time and as scheduled.
- Attend meetings and functions.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures; communicate hazards and/or suggest improvements to Manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
High School or GED diploma; two years of marketing or sales experience; restaurant/wine shop experience preferred; demonstrated computer knowledge; effective written and oral communication skills; valid driver’s license.
Working ConditionsHome office environment with occasional travel to customer or Winebow meetings.
Equipment/Machinery UsedAutomobile, telephone, copier, fax machine, computer, and calculator.
Physical RequirementsSitting, standing, bending, manual dexterity, reaching, visual acuity, lifting and moving up to 50lbs.
Hybrid Work ScheduleRequired in-office Tuesday–Thursday, with additional in-office attendance as needed for special meetings or business needs on non-designated in-office days.
