Outside Sales Account Representative – Multi‑Family Housing Accounts
LocationRenton and Eastside, Washington. Must reside in the state (Washington) unless stated otherwise.
Job SummaryResponsible for profitably growing sales in the multi‑family housing sector by prospecting new accounts, retaining existing accounts, and increasing opportunities with current customers. The role requires a consultative selling approach and the ability to meet or exceed annual sales goals in a remote and regional setting.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers at all organizational levels.
- Manage sales volume with an existing group of customers and prospect successfully to expand the customer base.
- Design and implement plans to expand business presence in the assigned area.
- Share market and competitor information with appropriate internal channels; establish relationships and working partnerships.
- Attend monthly business meetings of company‑sponsored associations.
- Participate in local trade shows and, when required, regional or national events.
- Analyze data to resolve missing or incomplete information and inconsistencies in research data.
- Provide general guidance or training to junior support or professional personnel as needed.
- Direct sales experience to multi‑family communities and facilities maintenance customers.
- Three or more years of B2B field sales experience.
- Experience selling to HD Supply facility customers and industry products.
- Large volume of product line experience.
- Organizational skills and knowledge of handheld technology.
- Knowledge of facilities products such as hardware, electrical, lighting, and more.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Salesforce or a similar CRM system.
- Experience with consultative or solution selling.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
- Must reside in Washington state.
- Operation of a company or personal vehicle, consistently used more than 20% of the average work week.
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report required.
Generally a BS/BA in a related discipline, with 2–5 years of experience in a related field, or an MS/MA with 2–4 years of experience in a related field.
Salary Range$64,200.00 – $93,200.00 (annual)
