The opportunityA Dangerous Goods Specialist is essential for ensuring hazardous materials are transported safely and in line with all regulations and industry standards. Our team works onsite with clients at various locations, skillfully partnering with other professionals to identify compliance risks during transit. The expertise of our DG Specialists is key to meeting international safety requirements. With demand growing, we’re looking for a self-driven, experienced individual with an interest in Dangerous Goods and the ability to learn new skills to join our Everett team.
Reporting to the Northwest Regional Manager, you will be given extensive and significant training and become a vital resource to our client. As the onsite expert, you will be relied upon to provide guidance on national and international regulatory and logistical compliance, delivering knowledge and interpretation of both European & American regulations to facilitate the safe and fluid transport of materials by air, surface, and vessel.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have/be- 2+ years of Military, Shipping, Warehouse, Transportation Compliance, Fulfilment, DG Shipping, or similar experience
- Ability to travel to and work at client site
- Outstanding team player with solid communication skills and a can-do attitude
- Particularly comfortable with technology including MS Office
- IATA, IMDG, 49-CFR qualifications (not required)
- DGSA qualification (not required)
Job Type: Temp-to-perm, shift work. Weekday hours are 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and weekend hours are 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The standard schedule is 3 days on and 3 days off, planned one month in advance.
Pay: $30.00 per hour for the 3-month training and probationary period, full time competitive salary plus benefits beyond initial period, if hired.
