Security Officer – Government Patrol (Full‑Time)
Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Officer – Government Patrol (Full‑Time) in Everett, WA.
Position Type: Full Time |
Pay Rate: $29.08 / Hour |
Job Schedule: Day
- Mon: 02:00PM – 12:00AM
- Tue: 02:00PM – 12:00AM
- Wed: 02:00PM – 12:00AM
- Sun: 02:00PM – 12:00AM

- Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, problem‑solving while maintaining professionalism.
- Conduct regular and random patrols through interior and perimeter areas to deter unwanted activity and observe any unusual situations.
- Document and report security‑related incidents, hazards, and maintenance issues according to company procedures.
- Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local authorities during incidents and emergency situations.
- Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with site access per established protocols.
- Support a secure environment by maintaining visibility and providing a security‑related presence throughout the assigned government location.
- At least 2 years of security‑related experience.
- Minimum age of 21 years (or 18 for unarmed roles, 21+ for armed roles).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
- Valid guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Background investigation required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Drug screen as permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
- Valid driver's license required only for driving positions.
