As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Spokane, WA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer supporting a government transportation location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security‑related incidents. • Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, service calls, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while documenting observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist employees and visitors with directions and general information, and/or report maintenance or security‑related concerns to the proper contact.
• Support site personnel and local responders during disturbances, medical events, evacuations, and/or other location‑specific incidents in accordance with post orders.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
