Family Tree Apartments is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician who takes pride in quality work and keeping buildings running the right way. This is a hands-on role working at a 151‑unit multifamily community—no sitting behind a desk, no guesswork, just real maintenance work that makes a difference for residents.

Pay:$23-25/hour, dependent on experience
- Early close Fridays (3 paid hours each Friday)
- Early close prior to a holiday (3 paid hours)
- Paid Time off between Christmas and New Year's Holiday

Duties
- Perform general maintenance and repairs in apartments and common areas (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, painting, etc.)
- Respond to work orders and urgent maintenance needs in a timely, resident-focused manner
- Prepare apartments for new move-ins and turns
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Safely use tools and equipment while following OSHA and Mercy Housing safety standards
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Hands on experience of basic building maintenance
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year in skilled maintenance work
- Technical training in one or more building trades preferred
Knowledge and Skills
- Take direction from the supervisor.
- Read, write, do basic math, and follow instructions.
- Flexible to change work plans.
- Maintain a professional personal appearance.
- Legally operate a motor vehicle (valid driver's license and insurance).
