Trailer Technician II

All technicians receive weekly pay, monthly bonuses based on productivity, and full benefits and retirement enrollment starting on day one.
Responsibilities- Examine trailers to determine extent of damage or malfunction(s).
- Diagnose, repair, build, and rebuild all parts of trailer equipment.
- Provide customers with preventative maintenance solutions whenever appropriate.
- Maintain 80% productivity while preventing comebacks.
- Perform inspections and preventative maintenance of trailers and equipment.
- Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services such as lubrications and component replacements.
- Repair, re‑line, replace, and adjust brakes (air, hydraulic, electric, and brake accessories).
- Test components using proper equipment to ensure proper operations.
- Troubleshoot and repair suspension systems including leaf and coil spring systems and Hendrickson walking beam type suspension systems.
- Perform basic aluminum and steel wire welding.
- File, grind, sand, and smooth filled or repaired surfaces using power tools and hand tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
The annualized pay ranges from $17.00 to $37.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications. The position may also be eligible for monthly bonuses or commissions.
