Summary of Functions

The Kalispel Golf and Country Club Member Services department exists to enhance the golf experience of the membership and guests by providing exceptional golf car, club, and pre/post round services of the Club in a timely, courteous, and efficient manner. Member Services attendants will be held to the highest standards of conduct at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • To understand and respond to all member and guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner and in conjunction with Kalispel Hospitality.
  • To greet all members and guests upon their arrival and assist them with their golf bags and any directions or information they may need.
  • To maintain, in appropriate area; an ample and orderly supply of golf cars.
  • To keep organization and cleanliness of bag room, golf car storage, staging areas, and practice facilities.
  • To safely transport members and guests who are walkers up the hill to the #10 tee boxes using our shuttle.
  • To approach all members and guests at the end of their round and offer to clean their clubs and assist them in returning their golf cars.
  • To volunteer to help the member or guest transport their clubs to the car, upstairs bag rack, or other location.
  • To follow all specified procedures to satisfactorily perform routine daily tasks including: opening and closing the bag room and golf car storage area; preparing member’s clubs who will be playing golf that day and cleaning/storing them at the end of their round; collecting and cleaning range balls; cleaning, storing, and charging golf cars; removing trash from staging areas and driving range.
  • To perform basic routine service on fleet of golf cars including maintenance on batteries and tires and performing complete details on golf cars.
  • To participate in the set up and breakdown of the Club’s golfing events.
  • To advise the golf professional staff of any member or guest complaints so they may be professionally resolved.
  • To be knowledgeable about all goods and services offered by the Club and to actively promote them to our membership and guests.
  • May be required to be an IRB panelist.
  • Responsible for maintaining a good attendance record.

Experience
  • Basic golf knowledge preferred.
Skills & Abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
Education
  • High School Diploma /GED or pursuing.
Other Requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License.
  • Valid driver’s license (Must be in possession while operating a Tribal Vehicle).
  • Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
Physical Demands
  • Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • This position requires significant amounts of standing or walking as well as driving golf cars and other motor vehicles in a seated position.
  • The majority of the work for this position will be performed outside and exposed to the natural elements (hot, cold, rain, wind, etc.).

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
