Facilities Engineer

Description

Performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks related to the operation, maintenance and repair of building systems, structures and associated electrical, mechanical, environmental and utility equipment and distributions.

• Coursework/Training:
  Mathematics, Mechanics, Electrical, Blueprint Reading.
• Completion of recognized apprenticeship journeyman program; OR full journeyman status; OR extensive applicable work experience. Vocational training may be substituted for work experience. Progressively responsible experience in aspects of building construction, maintenance and repair preferably in a healthcare setting where the incumbent has gained skills in electrical, mechanical, plumbing and structural systems.

• Basic Mechanical ability and aptitude.
