Insulation Installer Crew (Attic & Crawl Spaces) - $26/hr+ Role and Responsibilities
As an Attic and Crawl Space Technician, you will install insulation, conduct rodent proofing and sanitation, perform mold remediation, assist with sheetrock/drywall installation and repair, and handle any other tasks needed to ensure project completion.
You will do…- Start the day at 6 am (time may vary by season)
- Load trucks and prepare materials based on the operation manager’s instructions
- Review jobs for the day with crew leads
- Perform the assigned job at the work site (usually one site per day, 7–10 work hours)
- Return to the office after completing the job, unload and clean up trucks
- 21 years or older
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Ability to lift heavy objects exceeding 75 lbs and crawl in tight spaces
- Can access through a 22″x30″ opening
- Can safely climb and descend ladders or attic stairs
- Proficient with staple guns, hammers, utility knives, and working on scaffolding or ladders
- Able to properly use personal protective gear on site
- Previous insulation or rodent control experience (preferred)
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Leadership experience supervising 2–3 crew team members on site
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record within the last 7 years
- Competitive hourly pay of $24–$28 with potential bonus; bi‑weekly paydays with direct deposit
- Balanced workload (80%–110%) scheduled to avoid exhaustion
