- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues on first-class and business-class aircraft seating, providing clear recommendations and solutions to internal teams and customers.
- Analyze and physically check wiring, operation of various electronic units, and systems components necessary to troubleshoot malfunctions during testing of components, equipment, or systems.
- Use multimeters for continuity checks and system validation; verify system reliability during installation and test activities.
- Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, component maintenance manuals and engineering drawings to diagnose issues and execute repairs.
- Perform on-site field service including installation, operation, removal, and replacement of complex electronic and mechanical equipment to meet customer and company requirements.
- Support customers with technical questions during pre‑ and post‑installation phases.
- Perform self‑inspections on work performed and coordinate with Quality Assurance for buy‑off.
- Complete all required documentation accurately in Boeing’s Velocity/CMES and ensure Collins work-tracing systems reflect current work status.
- Assist with re-testing after installation to confirm systems meet required performance standards.
- Communicate effectively with Collins leadership, Boeing teams, and customers to resolve issues and report status.
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed to support field service operations and provide temporary support at other sites.
- Frequent standing, walking, climbing, reaching, and working in confined areas; occasional kneeling, crawling, and lifting.
- Exposure to wet/humid conditions and outdoor environments; moderate noise levels.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and methodical problem‑solving capability under pressure.
- High attention to detail to ensure safety, reliability, and premium cabin standards.
- Strong customer-facing communication skills with the ability to build relationships and represent the organization effectively.
- AA/AS degree (or other 2‑year post–high‑school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in electrical troubleshooting.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without immigration sponsorship.
- Security clearance not required.
- Experience with on‑site aircraft field support, manufacturing, and repair station environment.
- Experience with Boeing BPI’s and CMES/Velocity computer systems.
- Experience assembling or servicing commercial seating, lavatory and galley equipment.

Salary Range58,400 USD – 111,000 USD.
