Electrician

The electrician technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential and commercial buildings. They will work closely with the electrician to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems in accordance with local codes and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Repair or replace faulty wiring, fixtures, outlets and other components.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Proven experience as an electrician or similar role.
• Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools and testing equipment.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training preferred.
• Valid electrician license/certification.
• Biometric passport preferred for ease of travel.
• Must be physically fit to handle the demands of the job.

• Salary $900 per month, negotiable based on experience.
• Full‑time position with accommodation provided if needed.
• Jobs open to Kenyans preferred or foreigners legally able to work in Washington.
• Jobs open to students studying for an electrician certification/license.
