Bath & Furnace Technician
Job Description
The Bath & Furnace Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining temperature calibration equipment, including baths, furnaces, and related thermal systems. This role involves mechanical assembly and disassembly, electrical troubleshooting, soldering and reworking piping systems, and following detailed work instructions to ensure all equipment meets operational and quality standards.
Responsibilities
+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems on temperature calibration equipment, including baths, furnaces, and related thermal systems.
+ Disassemble, rebuild, and perform repairs on thermal calibration equipment to restore proper function and reliability.
+ Solder and rework copper piping and plumbing-style connections to support system repairs and modifications.
+ Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to diagnose issues and complete repairs accurately.
+ Use hand tools and power tools to perform maintenance, repair, and assembly activities in a safe and efficient manner.
+ Follow established work instructions, documented procedures, and safety protocols to maintain quality and compliance standards.
+ Handle coolants, gases, and other chemicals safely when required, adhering to proper chemical handling guidelines.
+ Work hands-on in a repair and manufacturing environment to support ongoing production and equipment maintenance needs.
Essential Skills
+ Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
+ Hands-on experience with soldering and reworking copper piping and plumbing-style connections.
+ Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for maintenance and repair activities.
+ Knowledge of safe handling practices for coolants, gases, and other chemicals.
+ Comfort working directly with thermal systems, including baths and furnaces.
+ Strong attention to detail and adherence to work instructions, procedures, and safety protocols.
Additional
Skills & Qualifications
+ Background in HVAC, refrigeration, industrial maintenance, or field service.
+
Experience with soldering, brazing, or plumbing-related repairs.
+ Strong electrical troubleshooting skills in an industrial or technical environment.
+ Familiarity with chemical handling procedures and thermal system operation.
+ Ability to work effectively in a hands-on repair and manufacturing setting.
Work Environment
This role operates in a hands-on repair and manufacturing environment focused on temperature calibration equipment, including baths, furnaces, and related thermal systems. The technician regularly uses hand tools and power tools to perform mechanical and electrical repairs, as well as soldering and reworking copper piping and plumbing-style connections. Work involves reading and interpreting technical documentation and following detailed work instructions and safety protocols.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
