Qualifications&
Experience:
- Active Social Work License with School Social Worker endorsement (#071) required
- Previous experience in a school environment preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Passion for advocating for students and their families
- Flexibility and compassion in working with diverse populations
- Provide individual and group counseling to students
- Collaborate with educational staff, families, and external agencies to support student needs
- Develop and implement intervention and prevention strategies addressing behavioral, social, and emotional issues
- Assist in crisis intervention, serving as a resource for students facing personal or family challenges
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP or 504 meetings as necessary
- Maintain accurate case records and documentation according to ethical standards
