Senior Software Engineer

The software team at Fluke Corporation is looking for a senior software engineer to join the team delivering an exciting game‑changing solution for our industry. We are looking for a senior engineer to join our team and help us develop our next generation test and measurement solutions. You’ll be heavily involved in developing and iterating on the back‑end services using an AWS stack that will empower technicians around the world to perform their jobs effectively. Our ideal candidate has a history of solving complex problems for building highly scalable and modular solutions.

We use agile processes with rapid iteration, with a high bar for quality.

• Develop our highly scalable and modular back‑end services using JavaScript / Python and AWS micro services stack.
• Participate in design, development, review, documentation and testing of our application.
• Work closely with the product and design teams to refine feature requirements.
• Own end‑to‑end technical deliverables from feature creation through the CI/CD process and through production release.
• Work closely with our product and test partners to ensure we are measuring and constantly delivering a product meeting customer need with high quality.
• Be a culture carrier for rapid build/test iterations with high quality delivery.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent technical degree.
• 5+ years of experience delivering highly scalable full stack solutions, with a good understanding of microservices architecture and AWS Serverless technologies.
• Proficient in JavaScript and Type Script. Python is a plus.
• Experience working with web frameworks such as Flask and / or Node.

• Experience working with AWS Lambdas and other AWS services such as S3, SQS, SNS, Cognito, IAM, EC2, ECS, Elastic Beanstalk and Cloud Formation.
• Experience in React is a plus.
• Demonstratable experience integrating with highly scalable projects on AWS.
• Ability to perform in an agile team environment.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, both independently and in a team.
