We are seeking a highly experienced Manufacturing Technology Analyst 4 to lead end-to-end software development activities for complex engineering systems. The role involves designing, developing, testing, integrating, and maintaining non-embedded and real-time software solutions while ensuring compliance with industry, safety, and regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate will act as a technical leader responsible for translating customer requirements into software designs, driving architecture decisions, improving development processes, and ensuring high-quality software delivery across the lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Lead design, development, testing, integration, and maintenance of software systems.
- Translate customer and system requirements into detailed software architecture and design.
- Drive software integration across systems and ensure performance, reliability, and efficiency.
- Define and maintain architecture, interfaces, algorithms, and technical documentation.
- Debug complex issues and lead resolution efforts for software defects.
- Manage user feedback, technical troubleshooting, and support activities.
- Research and implement emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Establish and improve software development processes, metrics, and standards.
- Lead software R&D initiatives and documentation efforts.
- Coordinate supplier performance, project execution, and compliance tracking.
- Ensure adherence to safety, certification, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in full software development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, Rust, or Ada.
- Experience with embedded real-time systems and RTOS.
- Strong understanding of hardware-software interaction and system safety.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- 9+ years of relevant industry experience preferred.
- Experience with software architecture, design methodologies, and system integration.
- Knowledge of requirement traceability and certification processes.
- Experience with debugging tools, compilers, and development frameworks.
- Understanding of supplier management and project governance.
- Exposure to aerospace or safety-critical systems is highly desirable.
