Job Summary
The Truck Driver plays a crucial role in our operations by skillfully operating a diverse range of vehicle combinations, such as semis, truck‑trailers, flatbeds, and double trailers, encompassing both short and long‑haul routes. Adhering to Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations, they ensure the secure transportation of cargo to different destinations. Responsible for the overall safety of the journey, the Truck Driver meticulously maintains their vehicle, ensuring it complies with all safety standards.
Additionally, versatility is key as the Truck Driver may also operate other mobile machinery, including forklifts and electric walk‑ies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Operates tractor‑trailer combinations vehicles and delivery equipment on long‑haul assignments in compliance with Federal, State and Company regulations and safety requirements.
- Loads, secures, and unloads cargo to ensure optimum legal equipment utilization and maintain security/care of equipment/cargo during transit.
- Maintains mileage, fuel/oil consumption, operational records, and driver’s daily logs.
- Performs minor maintenance as necessary and conducts vehicle safety checks to ensure vehicle is in proper operating condition.
- Works independently with little responsibility as to method or selection of work. Follows all appropriate laws, Company policies and procedures.
- May be required to perform additional duties and tasks as required by the Company.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Tests – Results obtained in standard tests for this position must meet minimum requirements established by the Company, in accordance with Company policy. Read, write, and speak English.
- Add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and safe driving record including a Class A, Commercial Driver’s License with appropriate endorsements.
