Position OverviewResponsible for safely transporting materials, tools, and equipment from the Everett warehouse to UMC jobsites and project locations. This is an Everett-based CDL-A driver role supporting local and regional logistics, including operation of tractor‑trailers with flatbed and/or Conestoga trailers, as well as straight trucks. The role may include occasional interstate runs from Everett, Washington, with overnight travel averaging one night per week, required when assigned.
This position also provides limited warehouse support, including order preparation, equipment returns, inventory handling, and yard organization.

- Basic math and measurement skills (per DOT standards: Reasoning Level 3; Math Level 2; Language Level
2).
Education and Experience
- 5+ years of truck driving experience preferred.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License required.
- Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate required.
- Must be eligible to operate as a CDL‑A interstate commercial driver.
- Must participate in DOT drug and alcohol testing program.
- Must pass MVR check.
- Clean driving record required.
- Hazmat endorsement not required.
- Manual transmission operation not required.
- Flatbed and/or Conestoga experience preferred, but not required.
This role is based in Everett, Washington. Most work will consist of local and regional driving in support of UMC warehouse and jobsite logistics. The role may include occasional overnight interstate travel from Everett, averaging roughly one night per week. Overnight travel is expected to be no more than one night per week when assigned. Weekend work may be required based on project and delivery schedules.
CompensationThis is a Teamsters‑represented position. Pay will be based on the applicable Teamsters wage scale, and the successful candidate will be required to join the Teamsters as a condition of employment, subject to applicable law and collective bargaining agreement requirements. Compensation will be based on the applicable Teamsters wage scale for this classification.
