OverviewBuilds solid, positive working relationships between the Market Center and depots and is highly motivated to exceed their expectations and requirements. Shuttle Drivers must balance work in a safe and expedient manner while accurately transporting merchandise to and from the laundry facility, generating goodwill and loyalty for the organization.
Responsibilities- Safely operate a company vehicle/truck to transport products between Market Centers and depot locations on time, according to route delivery and facility processing schedules.
- Confirm route schedule and details with Market Center Production Manager.
- Verify daily preventative maintenance of vehicle/truck, schedule regular maintenance for tractor/trailer, and maintain proper documentation, driver duty status logs, daily vehicle inspections reports, and schedules.
- Manage daily route to ensure accurate and timely delivery of product.
- Load/unload product per company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Take responsibility for personal safety and watch out for the safety of others, using safe precautions, proper tools, equipment, and adhering to all safe work practices and policies.
- Know and adhere to Federal, State, and local highway transportation laws and regulations.
- Carry at all times the required driving license and medical certification as required by state/federal regulations.
- Perform additional duties as required or assigned within the scope of the activities described above.
- Exposure to adverse and varying weather conditions, including extreme hot/cold temperatures.
- Fast‑paced environment requiring irregular and long hours.
- Exposure to odors, fumes, noise, and vibration.
- Routinely lift and maneuver a minimum of 25 lbs and load/unload product from truck without assistance.
- Occasionally lift and maneuver 50+ lbs, stand/walk while loading and unloading, frequently sit while driving for prolonged periods, and use hands for grasping and other manipulations.
- Occasionally push and pull a force up to 50+ lbs, moving carts and pallets.
- Require bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching.
Minimum 3 years of driving experience; 3 years of previous truck driving experience in a similar vehicle to what is required on the job, or equivalent experience.
EducationHigh school degree or equivalent preferred.
License Requirements / CertificationsValid commercial driver’s license; meet minimum DMV/MVR points per company policy; current CDL‑A License.
ScheduleM-F 4pm – 12am, $36/hr.

CompensationThe hourly rate for this position ranges from $36, depending on circumstances including applicant’s skills, qualifications, certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors.
