Evergreen Park Public Library is looking for a positive, outgoing, and self-motivated person to work in our Computer Lab. Duties include interacting and engaging with computer users with courtesy and discretion, helping patrons with basic computer, Microsoft Office, and Internet functions, assisting patrons to use the printer, scanner, and fax, and troubleshooting routine technology issues. The successful candidate will be friendly, dependable, patient, and able to relate to individuals with varying degrees of computer use competency.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Familiarity with various technologies, including computers, smartphones, apps, the Internet, database use, and social media platforms.
Evergreen Park Public Library, Cook County
Hours12-18 hours per week. Must be available to work a schedule that includes morning, afternoons, early evenings, and weekend hours.
