Chief Anesthesiologist — Little Company of Mary Hospital — Full Time
OSF Little Company of Mary Hospital, a nonprofit Catholic community hospital in Evergreen Park, IL, is seeking a Chief Anesthesiologist of 298 Medicare‑certified beds to lead the anesthesia department. This is a full‑time position with competitive salary and benefits.
Responsibilities- Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department
- Medical management of patients rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain during surgery and other procedures
- Pre‑anesthesia assessment and obtaining/verifying patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring patient's physiological condition
- Perform clinical intervention as needed
- M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited college of medicine
- ECFMG and FLEX certification
- Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
- Currently licensed as a physician
- Salary: $525,000 annually
- Sign‑on bonus: $75,000
