Walmart is expanding its workforce across local retail stores and actively recruiting a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. • Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills with hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and equipment.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair work orders, support store associates, and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by performing work according to Walmart Refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights frequently.

• 10 years of experience in commercial refrigerant HVAC maintenance.
• Large scale rack refrigeration experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Completion of a 2‑year technical/vocational HVAC/R program or 2‑year associate’s of applied science in A/C and refrigeration.
• Excellent driving record.
• Prior work experience with glycol and CO₂ systems.

Individual compensation packages are based on factors such as skill set, experience, and level of job offer. Eligible for bonus incentive.
