Senior Accountant

Description

Melissa with Robert Half is parterning with a company on the Leeward side looking for a newly created Senior Accountant role.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in preparing financial statements and payroll, as well as a solid understanding of accounting principles and strong GL experience. If you are interested in this role, please contact Melissa T at

Responsibilities:

· Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple projects

· Oversee payroll processing and compliance, ensuring accuracy and timely submission

· Reconcile bank accounts, manage accounts payable/receivable, and maintain general ledger entries

· Support internal accounting controls and audit processes

· Collaborate with project managers and senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis

· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

Requirements

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field

· Minimum of 3 years accounting experience

· Proven experience managing payroll and preparing comprehensive financial statements

· Strong proficiency in accounting software (Microsoft D365, Quick Books, Oracle Net Suite, SAP, or similar)

· Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment
