Job Overview
As a Cosmetic Sales Flex Colleague – Beauty Advisor Flex – you are the trusted expert customers turn to for all things beauty. Passionate about both products and people, you play a key role in creating a personalized and inspiring shopping experience that builds confidence and drives sales.
Key Responsibilities- Educate and serve as a beauty expert, offering expert advice, demonstrating products, and providing tailored consultations.
- Introduce customers to new items and innovations that match their needs and style.
- Build lasting client relationships and proactively grow and manage a loyal client base through consistent follow‑up, virtual outreach, and personalized service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable sales floor, recovering the floor and fitting rooms, updating signage and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves.
- Share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have all they need, and finish with a sincere thank‑you, often walking packages and using customers’ names.
- Begin each day energized and ready to make an impact, review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top‑selling items, and stay up‑to‑date on trends and promotions.
- Focus on the customer – warm welcome, eye contact, friendly conversation to build relationships and bring customers back.
- Maintain a shoppable space – recover floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves.
- Finish strong – share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have everything they need, thank sincerely, walk packages, and use names.
- Support one another with honesty, care, and collaboration to better serve customers and communities.

Flex Team Colleagues have minimum work requirements of 42 hours per quarter during 1st, 2nd, and 3rd fiscal quarters (February – April, May – July, August – October). During the 4th fiscal quarter (November – January) you will be required to work 60 hours during the quarter. The minimum number of hours may be subject to change and minimum number of weekend shifts may be required.

- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Deliver personalized beauty experiences by building relationships, uncovering needs, demonstrating product application, and educating customers on benefits and use.
- Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits.
- Drive sales and client loyalty by maintaining organized, shoppable space, leveraging clienteling tools, participating in sales events, and staying up‑to‑date through ongoing training and vendor education.
- Meet and surpass daily sales goals by delivering exceptional service.
- Effectively use point‑of‑sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions and enhance the shopping experience.
- Have at least 1 year of customer service or selling experience.
Physical Requirements
- Talk, lift, constantly move, stand, and reach with arms and hands.
- Stand for at least two consecutive hours, lift at least 25 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach, including above eye level.
- Require close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment, cash register, and ability to process register transactions.
