Position: Administrative Assistant - Janitorial
Compensation: $22.00/ hour
Employment Type: Part-Time, hourly. Monday - Friday, 9am-2pm
Reports To: Janitorial Director

The Janitorial Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative and clerical support to the janitorial and facilities team. This role helps ensure smooth daily operations by coordinating schedules, managing records, assisting with purchasing and inventory, and serving as a point of contact between staff, supervisors, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to janitorial.
- Assist with scheduling janitorial staff and tracking attendance and coverage.
- Maintain employee files, training records, and certifications.
- Order supplies and maintain inventory of janitorial materials and equipment.
- Communicate with vendors regarding supplies, repairs, and services.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and basic correspondence.
- Answer phones, emails, and route inquiries appropriately.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required; additional administrative training preferred.
- 1–2 years of administrative or office support experience (facilities or janitorial environment a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Suites or similar systems.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
