AboutThe Role
This is a rare opportunity for a true entrepreneur at heart—someone who has owned or operated a business, franchise or led a Business Operations Unit. The ideal candidate thrives when given autonomy, accountability, and the chance to build something meaningful. You will lead a mission‑aligned,
revenue‑generating program within the larger organization serving adults with developmental disabilities. Think of it as running your own business, but with a social impact engine behind you.
- Business Operations – 70%
- Oversee daily business operations for revenue generating business units that function like enterprises within the larger organization.
- Develop and implement operational systems that ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance.
- Drive entrepreneurial growth by identifying new service opportunities and improving existing offerings.
- Lead and manage multi‑site operations to ensure consistent, high‑quality service delivery
- Develop and implement operational strategies, KPIs, and performance standards
- Oversee workforce planning, scheduling, and labor optimization
- Budget & Financial Management – 20%
- Develop and manage program budgets with a focus on sustainability and growth.
- Monitor financial performance and adjust operational strategies to meet revenue targets.
- Ensure responsible resource allocation aligned with organizational goals
- Client Facing & Bid Proposals – 10%
- Prepare competitive bid proposals for service contracts and partnership opportunities.
- Collaborate with leadership to evaluate feasibility, pricing, and strategic fit.
- Experience owning or operating a business or franchise.
- Heavy Business Operations background.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building and improving systems.
- Proven change agent who thrives in environments that require innovation and adaptability.
- Experience in the following areas will be beneficial:
Food Service, Landscaping, Janitorial services, Fulfillment and/or Document Imaging.
