Job Description
The School of Education - Career & Community Studies is seeking CCS Student Workers/CCS Mentors for the program's needs for FY26. TCNJ provides a small cohort of students with intellectual disabilities ages 18-25 with a four-year residential course of study that utilizes a system of peer mentoring.
Pay$15.92/hour
Main Responsibilities- Promote inclusion within the college community
- Assist and guide CCS enrolled students to unlock and achieve individual potential
- Provide support for successful inclusion within traditional college classes
- Provide support for both on and off campus experiences and internships as needed
- Provide support for all student life activities
- Basic understanding of Intellectual Disabilities
- Peer mentoring methods and instruction
- Experience working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities
- Enrolled within the Special Education major
- Experience with in the community and campus resources
