Job Location:

• Assist with classroom instruction in the absence of the regular teacher to provide meaningful instruction.
• Support and assist students in various educational settings.
• Implement classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
• Develop and maintain effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Utilize tutoring skills to reinforce student learning and address individual gaps in knowledge.
• Prepare and distribute materials and equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior.
• Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures.

• Must hold NJ Substitute credential.
• Experience working with children, including preschool and early childhood education.
• Proven experience in classroom management and lesson planning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students of varying abilities and needs.
• Experience in tutoring and providing individualized support.
• Commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.

• Fingerprinting and Criminal History Background Check information.
• Information on how to obtain and complete background checks and related steps may be required by the school district.
