- Assist with the set-up/breakdown of Biology 201 Labs
- Clean and maintain equipment and glassware
- Maintain consistent work schedule, which includes working 3 hours sometime between Friday at 5 pm and Monday at 9 am for all weeks requiring set-up/breakdown.
- Must be able to follow protocols and other written/verbal instructions.
- Assist as needed with other Greenhouse duties
- Work in the Greenhouse when no set-up/breakdown is required for Biology 201. Greenhouse work can be done according to student availability and Greenhouse needs.
- Assist with Biology 211 lab prep for 2 hours (sometime between 1:00 and 4:00 pm on either Tuesday or Friday afternoon).
- Assist with other duties in the department for 2 hours each week as needed. Floater duties can be done according to student availability and departmental needs.
- Learn aseptic techniques and basic pipetting skills
- Learn how to follow basic lab protocols
- Learn how to work safely in a lab environment
- Biology Student who has already taken Bio
201 and Bio
211 at TCNJ
- Lab experience preferred but not required
- Exhibit responsibility, independence, and self-motivation
