The Biology department is seeking a candidate for the Fish room/Non-Majors Course Assistant
Responsibilities- Perform weekly cleanings of a fish aquarium facility
- Assist with preparation of laboratory materials for students enrolled in several non-majors courses
- The lab assistant will help set up and break down labs as requested by individual instructors of these courses
- The lab assistant will help organize the laboratory classroom
- Learn how to follow basic lab protocols
- Gain an understanding of professionalism and confidence working in a fast-paced academic environment
- Because this position involves caring for live vertebrate animals, the applicant will need to attend,or have attended, TCNJ's animal care session, which is offered every semester.
- Experience caring for live animals is required
Experience working with fish is preferred
