Financial Analyst (Contract – 3 Months)

Ewing, NJ (Fully Onsite)
Pay Rate: $35–$38/hr
Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail‑oriented Financial Analyst for a 3‑month contract assignment based fully onsite in Ewing, NJ. This role will support the finance team with financial reporting, analysis, and data management, with a strong emphasis on Excel and accuracy in financial data. Experience with revenue‑related analysis or recognition is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including variance analysis (actuals vs. forecast/budget)
- Support revenue tracking activities, including assisting with revenue‑related reporting and reconciliations
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Build, maintain, and update financial models and reporting tools in Excel
- Assist with month‑end close processes, including journal entry support and financial data validation
- Analyze trends in revenue, expenses, and operational performance to provide actionable insights
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to gather financial data and ensure reporting accuracy
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and data integrity
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or accounting
- Strong Excel skills required (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis)
- Experience with revenue analysis or revenue recognition concepts preferred
- Experience with ERP systems or financial reporting tools is a plus
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- 3‑month contract assignment
- Fully onsite, 5 days per week in Ewing, NJ
