About Kerri's HouseKerri's House is a residential program providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children between the ages of 5 to 12. Our residents may have experienced trauma, abuse, neglect, or challenging life circumstances. At Kerri's House, we help children heal and grow by providing them with therapeutic care, education, and life training skills.
Job Responsibilities- Providing direct care and support to up to five residents, including supervision, meal preparation and transportation to appointments and activities.
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment for each resident.
- Collaborative with team members to ensure consistent and effective delivery of therapeutic care.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and other career development activities.
- Maintain accurate and complete resident records, including progress notes and incident reports.

- Bachelors degree in social work or psychology with one year of experience in direct care for youth in a behavioral health agency or institutional setting.
- High School diploma holders with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience will also be considered.
- A valid driver's license with a clean standing over the past (6) months is required.
- Physical & Drug Screening, Criminal Record History, FBI, and Child Abuse History Clearances.
- All new hires are required to successfully complete Safety Crisis Management (SCM) certification within one week of hire.

The SCM program spans three days. - Physical Demands:
Active participation in physically demanding activities is necessary.
- Is knowledgeable of child development, behavior management, and therapeutic techniques.
- Can work both independently and as part of a team.
- Will exhibit excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Has a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
