What Our Client Needs

Our client is seeking a Social Media Manager to lead and grow their organic social media presence. This role will develop and execute social strategies, create engaging content, support executive thought leadership, and strengthen brand visibility across multiple platforms.

You are a strategic thinker, strong communicator, and creative problem-solver who understands how to build engaging social media programs that drive results. You are comfortable collaborating across teams, managing multiple priorities, and translating complex ideas into clear and compelling content. You are also naturally curious, data-driven, and proactive in identifying opportunities to improve performance and brand presence.

What You'll Do

You will lead the organization's organic social media strategy and day-to-day execution while partnering with internal teams to increase engagement, visibility, and thought leadership.
  • Create and execute organic social media strategies through research, audience identification, benchmarking, and messaging.
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share daily social and video content that drives engagement and action.
  • Optimize social media channels to increase visibility and audience reach.
  • Create and manage editorial calendars and content schedules.
  • Manage the employee social media advocacy platform, including onboarding and training support.
  • Perform social listening to monitor brand perception and identify opportunities for engagement.
  • Analyze social media metrics, insights, and trends and share actionable recommendations with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with marketing, solutions, HR, and other departments to support business initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends, media coverage, and social activity and communicate findings across the organization.
  • Support speaker bureau activities, including researching and tracking speaking opportunities.
This position reports to senior leadership within public relations and requires up to 5% travel. No direct supervisory responsibilities are associated with this role.

What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 5+ years of professional social media experience; B2B experience preferred.
  • Strong writing, communication, and web analytics skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to communicate technically complex concepts in a clear and straightforward way.
  • Experience using Hootsuite or similar social media management platforms and Google Analytics.
  • Experience with web design and video editing is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-starter mindset with strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
