Role
Help Desk Data Warehouse
LocationEwing, NJ
DurationLong Term Contract
Note:Basically work will be in the warehouse. Help Desk is only the job title used. There will be no support of computers or applications for users. Hours
Monday - Friday: 7:30 am to 3:30 pm
Responsibilities- Assist in all logistical functions for handling of IT equipment including receiving, inventory, warehousing, and distribution.
- Process surplus/obsolete desktop & laptop PCs and printers by removing hard drives and staging for disposal.
- Assist in preparing and validating inventory for distribution/delivery and in loading vehicles.
- Assist in transporting and delivering IT equipment statewide within New Jersey.
- Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 lbs.
- At least 2 years of experience assisting in conducting equipment inventory and in checking/confirming received equipment orders.
- At least 2 years of experience lifting and moving up to 50 lbs to assist in picking, moving, and loading IT equipment for delivery.
- At least 2 years of experience assisting in the processing and handling of obsolete IT hardware for disposal.
- Associate's Degree in any field from an accredited college or university (Nice to have).
- Experience with asset management (Nice to have).
- Experience with State Government (Desired).
