Description JOB SUMMARYSupports all aspects of the agency'scomputer/network connectivity, hardware, software and systems maintenance. Resolve computer issues via remote access or direct on-site support.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Assist internal staff and provide a high level of customer service and support as it relates to responding to help desk requests.
- Assess and resolve all computer related issues, troubleshoot, and deliver solutions to common hardware and software problems.
- Work with vendor's support team to troubleshoot and resolve issues for agency software needs.
- Constantly monitor and manage the help desk ticket queue and respond to requests in a timely fashion, logging both the problem and resolution in the ticket.
- Set-up and troubleshoot network printers, workstations, and internet access.
- Work independently, perform troubleshooting research, take and recommend appropriate actions with minimal supervision.
- Configures, installs and maintains all agency computers and related equipment such as: desktop computers, printers, switches, hubs, network interface, cabling. Client for MS networks and internet connectivity.
- Establishes and maintains user accesses to agency networks and directories.
- Maintain the exchange of data/connectiviity between end-users and web-based applications.
- Create and maintain various user accounts, rights, and file access.
- Assist IT Manager with administrative and/or other duties of the IT department

SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS: None
Position Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- A.S. degree in computer technology and 3years of related work experience or B.S. degree in computer technology and 2years of related work experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of all MS Windows operating systems and MS Office.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS NEEDED: Valid NJ driver’s license.
